Y'INCENT county council MATAKANUI WATER AREA, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Vincent County Council held on Wednesday the 27th day of September, 1922, a resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the Council to be held on Wednesday the 25th day of October 1922 at 10 a. m. at the Council Chambers, a copv of which resolution has been deposited at the office of the said Council at Clyde, and is open to the inspection of the public during office hours from the date hereof to the 25th day of October, 1922, and the purport of which resolution is as follows: In exercise of Section 16 of ‘The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913,” and with the consent in writing of threefourths of the Ratepayers in the Special Rating Area hereinafter described the Vincent County Council hereby resolves by way of special order that for the purpose of the purchase and construction of irrigation works for the said Special Rating Area the Vincent County Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £5,000 at 4 per centum per annum fora period of 36 y 2 years repayable in instalments over such period in accordance with the prescribed table, and declares that the cost of raising the said loan and the first year’s interest on the loan shall be payable out of the moneys so raised. SPECIAL RATING AREA. ALL THAT piece of land situate in the Survey District of Lauder in the Matakanui Riding Vincent County in the Land District of Otago containing approximately 6413 acres- irood 32poles being sections r, 10 and 11 Block 11, sections 1, 2, 3, 4> b, *hj tji Mi 15, ib, 17, iS, 19. 20, 21, 22, 23, 34 25, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33,1 .Vi* 35> 3v--42, 4,3. and 44 Block 111, sections 9 and 30 Block VI, sections 4 and 73 Block VII and part Runs 223], 223K, 223N, and 223. O. all in the Lauder Survey District.
