It is proposed to establish in To Awamutu a co-operative rabbit company to deal with the rabbits in the district (states the Waipa Post). With the establishment of a freezing chamber it will be possible to obtain for the owners of rabbit infected country full value for the carcasses and skins and so retain for them the large profits which are now being made by dealers and which can be applied in further destruction and the eradication of the pest.
