The Dunstan Times. "Fiat justitia ruat coelum." MONDAY, Sept. 11th, 1922

Our readers will be interested and doubtless glad, to learn that the Alexandra Brass Band intends to visit Clyde on Friday night, when selections will be played in front of the Town Hall from 7 p.m. till 8 p.m- The public will then be invited into the hall where community singing will be indulged in for an hour, several members of > the Band (well known singers) leading. There will be no charge for admission, but a collection will be taken up- The Band is in need of new uniforms and some additional instruments, and in order to secure these propose to hold a bazaar at Alexandra next month- The effort at Clyde is in connection with this. We are sure that there will be a liberal respone, as the Band has come forward cheerfully for many years to help local institutions. The Hospital and the Sports Club particularly owe a debt of gratitude to the Band, and it is safe to say, that appreciation of that fact will be demonstrated on Friday night, A Dance is to be held after the Community Singing, for which there will be a small charge for admission.
