MARKET REPORT.
Messrs Dalgety and Co. report as follows: OATS—There is practically no life in the mark"* and sales are difficult to effect. We quote:—A. Gartons 2/6, B. Gartons 2s 3d, Undergrade is 6d per bushel, sacks extra. POTATOES—The market for choice lines is firm and there is a good demand for prime tables at £6 per ton, sacks in. WHEAT—Millers have practically stopped buying. There is a fair demand for fowl wheat, and prospects of shipping a quantity later in the season tend to keep the market firm. CHAFF.— There are fairly large supplies coming forward and as most feeders are carrying heavy stocks, there is not a very strong demand. Prime Oaten Sheaf £4 10s to £4 15s, Good to best feed £4 to £4 7s 6d, Inferior £2 10s per ton, sacks extra. —————^—»
