T T is hereby publicly notified that it -*- is the intention of this Council at its Meeting to be held on the 27th day of September, 1922, to Make and Levy a General Rate of Six (6) Farthings in the Pound (j£) (bring a rate of 1 }( Farthings in the Pound for Hospital Levy and 4,'4 Farthings in the Pound for General Rate) on the basis of the Capital Value under Sections 120 and 121 of the "Counties Act 1920." on all rateable property, separately, in the Ridings of Hawea, Clutha, Lindis, Carrick, Dunstan, Manuherikia, Matakanui, and Earnscleugh all within the County of Vincent, as appearing on the Valuation Rolls now in force, from the period of the Frst day of April 1922, to the Thirty First day of March, 1923, The said rate to become payable in one sum to the Rale Collector at the Vincent County Councils Office, Clyde, on the fifteenth day of October, 1922, and, That the Rate Book of the said Ridings is open fur inspection to all ratepayers at the Vincent Ccunty Councils Office, Clyde, on every week day, public holidays excepted, during Office hours.
