Sirouach, Morris & Co, Dnnedin report for the week ending Aug 17th as follows Oats—There in slightly better enquiry for A Gartons, inferior quality is however dull of sale. A Gartons Sis Cd to 2s 7d; Good to best feed 2s '2& to 2s 4d. Sacks extra. , .. Wheat -It is very difficult to place milling lines at present, as Millers are not keen to buy meantime. Fowl Wheat is in full supply, and the demand is confined to good quality which meets with fair sale. Potatoes— Light consignments have been coming to baud and there is a keen enquiry for Prime freshly picked lines. Inferior is dull of sal*. Prime Tables £6 to £6 5 inferior quality from £4 up. Chaff- Prime oaten sheaf £4 lo £4 15 Good to host £3 15 to £4; Inferior quality £2. up. 'Fat Cattlo— A largo yarding 180 being penned, consisting ot fair quality. Competition was fair bub prices dropped all round about £1 a head on last week's ntps. Extra Prime heavy bullocks to 17 prime £l3 to £l4 10s, Medium £l# to £l2, Lijht from £9 up. Prime cows and belters £<i 10s, medium £5 to i'o les. Fat Sheep— There was a full yarding, Extra Prime wethers 36s Oil ; Prime 25s to 30s; Medium 22s to 24?; Light from 18s upwards. Best ewes to 275.
