A record crowd attended the Town Hall, Clyde, on Wednesday evening last to do honor to the members of the local Hockey Club, who had for the second year in succession, succeeded in winning the Cup. The evening proved enjoyable in every respect- The Hall had been tastefully decorated for the occasion, and everything possible was done to ensure the comfort of patrons. |The music supplied by the Love Orchestra (Cornet, Violin, Piano), was first rate, while the supper was an excellent one- Mr J. Holt was an ideal M. C During the eveningsongs, which were much appreciated, were contributed by Mr R. Smart and Mr R. A Buchanan. Mr F- J. Bloy explained the object of the evening, and in doing so complimented the team on its fine, and unbeaten record. MrR. Bringans returned .thanks to the ladies responsible for the splendid evening provided, .and at his invitation the Club members gave cheers, with musical honors. Altogether it was a splendid success.
