CLYDE BOWLING CLUB.

The annual meeting of the above Club held in the Town Hall, on Wednesday last, was attended by about ao members. Mr P. Miller, (President) in £he Chair. The Annual Report was read and re» ccived. The President returned thanks to members for loyal support, and to the ladies for their kind assistance during the year. Mr Davidson moved a vote of thanks to the retiring President and Secretary. This was carried by acclamation. The following office-bearers were elected ; Office-bearers— Patron, Mr J. Ho r M. P. ; President, Phil. Miller ; (re-elected,) Vice Presidents, Messrs H. Stevens, W. Sutherland and Davidson; SecretarjCand Treasurer, MrJ. Smart; (re-elected). Management Committee, Messrs Ray, Bringans, Bloy, R. Smart, Gillies, McGlone; Sole Selector, MrJ. Davidson; Delegates to Centro, President and Mr Sutherland; Auditor,.Mr R. Ray; Delegates to Executives, Messrs Davidson and Stevens; Green Com., Messrs Bringans, Smart and Miller. Opening day was fixed for October 2Sth. Resolved that the subscription for the season be the same as last year 355. The appointment of a Greenkeeper was left in the hands of the Green Committee. Mr J. L. Davidson donated a handsome inscribed broach for the annual Championship Singles, the President making the presentation to Mr W. Sutherland, last year’s winner, amidst applause.
