DUNSTAN DISTRICT HOSPITAL.
The ordinary monthly meeting of the above institution was held on Monday, July iqlh. Present : —Messrs | E. Menzies (chair), E. Freed, W. Sutherland, R. Bringans, and James Holt. The minutes ol the last previous meeting were read and confirmed. Correspondence was read and received as under: — From D. Horn, Cromwell, re maintence account. From W A. Bodkin, re creditors meeting in estate of G. Williamson, deceased From Registrar of Old Age Pensions, re R. Little’s certificate. From D. Livingston, forwarding lys fid from Gulden Beach Dredge, employees. From Vincent Hospital Board, re annual requisition. Visiting Committee. —Mr Holt reported that a new water tap and saw handle were required. The sink in the surgery was a disgraceful job and should be attended to without delay. Everything else was in.excellent order. The report was received—the items asked for to he procured. The Surgeon’s report was read and adopted and on (he motion ol Messrs Sutherland and Freed, it was resolved —That the Wardsmaid be granted a i bonus of 5s per week for attending to Patterson and Little, The schedule of accounts amounting to Zjfii 5s 3d, was passed for payment. Messrs McKean and Holt were appointed a visiting committee for the ensuing month. The meeting then closed with the usual vote of thaoks to the chair.
