GRAIN AND PRODUCE REPORT. Messrs Dalgefcy and Co. Ltd. report as follows: We held our usual weekly auction sale of grain and produce on Monday and submitted pi large catalogue to a good attendance of buyers. Prices ruled as under Oats. The market is considerably easier. Shippers are not operating meantime through London advices reporting an easier tendency and the absence of Australian demand. We quote : Prime milling A Cartons la (id to 1/7-01, A Sparrowbills 1/G to 1/(U, Good to best feed is 4id to Is 6d, Inferior to medium Is 2;1 to Is -id. per bushel, sacks extra. Wheat.—Several lines of prime milling have changed hands at quotations principally to shippers as millers are not keen buyers, through their still bolding large stocks. Wiiolo Fowl Wheat meets with ready sale but smutted is very hard to .place. We quote Prime milling 4/1 to Medium 3/11 to 1/1, Whole Fowl wheat 3/0 to 3/10, Medium 3/4 to 3/7, Inferior 2/6 d tods per bushel sacks extra. Potatoes. ■ Potatoes are ollering more freely but prices for really prime and free from disease hold good ; anything lighted is hard to place and low prices have to be accepted as they would soon go ofl’if stored.
