A most successful and enjoyable smoke concert Was held m the BenJigo Hutel la*t Tuesday, the event being the departure of MiLindsay from Alexandre. Mr Lindsay hj s acted in the capacity of senior lieutenant to the local volunteers since the formation of the corps- and it is through his efforts that the corps is so highly spoken k of The volunteers recog* nised his worth, and took this ops portu'dty of presenting him wMi a purse of sovereigns.
