MELBDtJRNE, July 16. A number of communications have pass between Mr Chamberlain and the State G vernment with reference to the amount the allowances for the aide-de-camp ai private secretary for the State Governo These officials mean an outlay of £I,OC a year, and the Cabinet decided that th £5,000 voted for the Governor's salar must cover everything.
