Vienna, May 25. The Pestder Lloyd expects that Germany will declare war in order to terminate the present unbearable situation. St. Petersburg May 26 In replying to a deputation the Czar assured them that the Russian authorities had made all efforts in the direction of peace. Cracow. May 25. Owing to the sudden increase of Russian forces on the Galician frontier, Austria has ordered 18 further battalions of infantry to proceed to strengthen the force already stationed there.
