HPHIS Company is being formed with X the object of carrying on the business of Woollen Manufacturers ia Napier or its vicinity, and is the outcome of the following resolution, which was carried unanimously at a public meeting held at t he Napier Chamber of Commerce on the 22nd May, viz.:—" That in the opinion of this meeting it ie desirable in the best interests of Napier and Hawke's Bay to establish a Woollen Manufactory in the vicinity of Napier; and further, that in order to accomplish this end a Limited Liability Company be formed." The promoters of this Company are of opinion that the wollen-manufacturing one well suited to the town of Napier, and that under capable and energetic management the Company will prove a successful financial undertaking. Negotiations are now in progress for the acquirement of a suitable site for the Factory. It is the intention of the Directors to erect a firsfe-class Factory and obtain the latest and most approved types of machinery and plant. The services of an expert and up-to-date manager will be secured. The cost of flotation and registration will be borne by the Company. The Memorandum and Articles of Association will be prepared and settled by the Provisional Directors, who will be, or procure, the subscribers thereto, register the Company and allot shares.
