Lord Milner in London. LORD MILNER, after carefully studying the position of affairs iv South Africa, aud after a fruitless conference with the oily Rruger, deliberately warned the British Government that nothing less than a demonstration of the determinate n of 1 he nation not to be hustled out of South Africa would serve any good purpose. This declaration forced the hands of the Boers, and the nation has not waveied in its determination that Boer independence shall disappear. *' Never again 1" is the watch word of British rule in South Africa. Since visiting England Lord Milner has spoken with a directness and au effectiveness that have done an immenEe amount of good. A section of the Liberal party, posing as pro-Boers apparently for the express purpose of wrecking the Salisbury Government, has done a lot of harm, but the renegade leaders are being repudiated by their followers. The majority of Liberate are Imperialistic in their views regarding South Africa, and the resolutions passed by the Imperial Liberal Uouucil are sound and honestSir William Harcourf, Sir H. CampbeilBannerman, and others stand alone. They are discredited by their followers. Lord Milner triumphs, as he deserves to, and SURATURA TEA triumphs because it has merit, to recommend and support it. SURATURA comes from Ceylon, and is noted for its purity, strength, and fragrance.
