Sydney, Dec. 9, The captain of the schooner Defiance, from British Columbia, repoits that he sighted on November 30th, in latitude 34 south, longitude 160.25 east, about 70 miles south-west of Norfolk Island, a capsized vessel, with 100 feet of keel above water, of between 200 and 300 tons burthen. She had been floating about a month or two. In his opinion she would drift south to south-west into the track of shipping. There was nothing to indicate her identity.
