AN AUCKLAND TRAGEDY.
-o *~ A Boy Murdered by his Father.
[per press association.] Auckland, Last night. James Miller cut the throat of his little son, aged 4 years, and attempted to kill himself. It appears a woman, with whom he had been living, left him a few days ago. He askt?d her to come back. Slie declined but he took the boy and one of their children home with him. Subsequently he cat the boy's throat from ear to ear, and then attempted to cut his own throat. Liter on he informed the neighbors what he had done.
