Burton, arrived at Port Chalmers on Saturday afternoon, 168 days from Ipswich, England, with a cargo of 520 tons of phosphites. The Senorita is of 324 tons register, and is owned by Messrs L. D. Nathan and Co, of Auckland, where the Senorita is destined after discharging her present cargo. Being of very li_ht draught, really flat-bottomed, the vessel is doubtless intended for the timber trade in shallow harbors. Captain Babot, Marine Superintendent of the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Co. in the North Island, has decided that Captain Samuel shall take the Westland back to London. It is likely that the ship Occident, -which recently reached Fiji on fire, and was afterward purchased by the Union Co , will be towed to New Zealand .shortly.
