I Boers Suffer Heavily.

Yorkshires Fight with Gallantry.

(Received Dec. 7, 10.55 p.m.) London, Dec. 7. Five hundred of. Commandant Dβlarey's force determinedly attacked a Pretoria-Kustenburg convoy at Buffet's Poort, west of Pretoria, on the 3rd instant (Monday). The escort consisted of 25 Victorian Mounteds, with two guns of the 75th Battery, and two companies of the West Yorkshires. Details show that the Yorkshire Light Infantry, west of the kopjes, fought with great gallantry. The Boers entered the fiist half of the convoy and burnt a waggon. On Major-General Broad wood sending assistance, the Boers dispersed on the 4th instant, and suffered heavily, some being killed by case-shot 50 yards from the guns. The British had 15 killed and 23 wounded.
