Ivan Eggoreffe, engineer of the launch Wunyullah, was picked up drifting about the sea in a dingey. He stated that he, another European named Larsen, and three blacks formed the crew of the launch. The blacks wounded him with a tomahawk and threw him overboard. He managed to get ashore, and found a dingey, but the launch had disappeared. He believed that the blacks murdered Larsen. The police are searching.
