Dunedin, Last night. At the inquest to-day on the body, very much decomposed, of what was evidently a newly-born child, found in a paddock near the town belt, the jury returned a verdict that the body was that of a male child, but whether born alive or dead thsie was no evidence to show, or if born alive how it came to its death.
