Lord Balfour, the Hon. W. Hanbury (Financial Secretary to the Treasury), Mr W. G. Macartney (Under-Secretary to the Admiralty); the Earl of Onslow (Under-Secretary for India), and the Earl of Selborne (Under-Secretary for the Colonies), have been appointed a committee to enquire into the relations between the private cable companies and the Imperial, Indian, and colonial Governments, and other matters relating to the Imperial cable systefti.
