Inquest on the Victims. Statement by a Black's Wife. Mrs Mawbey_ Still Lives. United Press Association. By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received July 24, 9 a.m.) Sydney, This day. At the inquest on the Mawbeys, the victims of the Gilgandia tragedy, Jimmy Governor's wife gave evidence to ths effect that she quarrelled with her husband on the night of the murder. Jimmy and Jackey Underwood bade Joe Governor and Jacker Porter good-bye, stating their intention of leaving camp. They came back in about an hour, and Jackey eaid he had killed three of the Mawbeys and Jimmy the other three. Hearing Mawbey coming they all left camp. The reported death of Mrs Mawbeys was premature, but she is in a very low state.
