An increase in the ANNUAL INCOME of .. 94,650 4. An increase in the amount of ANNUAL CASH BONUS of ... .„ 26,440 5. A net gain in business in force of 9013 policies assuring ... 2,102,088 SBDuring the year 15,238 NEW POLICIES were issued, being the LARGEST NUMBER yet written by the Society in any one year. The NEW ASSURANCES issued amounted to £3,955,685, a sum IN EXCESS of that granted in any year since 1891. The TOTAL ASSURANCES in force (including Bonus additions) now amount to £54,343,821. The NET INCREASE to the volume of business in force is THE LARGEST in any year since 1891. The ACCUM UL ATED FU ND amounts to £16,074,740, and the ANNUAL INCOME to £2,259,357. The RESERVE set apart for the possible DEPRECIATION of SECURITIES now stands at £266,692. The DIVISIBLE SURPLUS for the year amounts to £506,182, yielding REVERSIONARY BONUSES of about £942,500.
