The cricket match at Lords, Gentlemen v. Players, was drawn. In their first innings the Gentlemen scored 297 and in the second 8:39. The Players in their first effort made 129, and in the second lost eight wickets for 502. B. E. Foster for the Gentlemen scored 302 (not out) and 136.
