CYCLING PATHS.

Auckland, Last night. A crowded meeting of cyclists was held to-night to consider the best means of getting cycle paths laid in and round Auckland. A strong committee was formed, and the following resolutions were carried : —"That in the opinion of this meeting it i 3 desirable that steps be taken to provide suitable cycle tracks Or improved roads in and round Auckland for the conyenienc eof cyclists." " That those present form themselves into a league with the object of obtaining such cycle tracks or good roads." " That the committee be instructed to approach Parliament, through the Municipal Conference now sitting in Wellington, in order to get a bill through Parliament to ensure the rights of cyclists to any cycle tracks laid."
