An accident occurred yeaterday to the ooach between Akaroa and Little iiiver. It was drawn by five horses, and when going down the hill from the summit to Little giver the horses bolted The ooaoh struck
a telegraph post, and tho body of the coach oharged through a post and rail fence, and was thrown twenty feet down the side of tho hill. _en paeaongera were on board, and one man named Ukicmo was badly injured, but the others had a marvellous escape, and beyond a severo shaking and bruises wore not seriously hurt. Ono of tho paksengers, Mr A IS. M. iihodes, who with hia wife was on the box soai, was thrown a clear sixty feet down tho hill. The man injured was brought into tho hospital
