The annual meeting of the Kapier Junior Olub was held last evening, Mr £L Hill, president, in the chair. Xhe report was of a very voluminous nature, traTtireing , in detail the whole work of the paat year. The baianea-sheet showed liabilities to the amount of £11 15s 6d, against whioh there were assets totalling £10 14e 6d, leaving a debit balance of £1 Is. It waa explained, however, that daring the year furniture, piano, &0., had been purchased to the value £50. The membership was set down at 93, comprising 6 life members, 14 honorary, ana 73 ordinary. Officers for the eneuing term were eleoted as follows:—President, Mr &. D. l>. M'Liean; vice-presidents, Key. H. W. J. Miller, and Messrs K. H. Williams, H. Bill, and P. C. Fretth; treasurer, Mr Jueslie; eeorstary, Mr Leigh; committee, Messrs G. P- Wake, Wylie, and Oaughley, were eleoted to fill the vacanoies. Advantage was taken of the oooasion to announce the result of the prize competition, the prize being awarded to Mr A. H. Leigh. During th« course of tho evening Mr Hill presented the seoretary with an album in recognition of services rendered. Presentations of illuminated addresees were also made to Mr iiill and Mr Bvnns.
