The Premier met with an enthusiastic reception on his arrival here, and was presented with an address of welcome, in which, the hope waß exprepssd that the Premier would not sever his connection with the West Coast.
In reply, Mr Seddon denied his intention to contest a North Tsland scat, aud said that so long as the West Coast would have him as their representative he would nover deeort them.
