Government four per cent stocks are held for an advance on 'Ohango owing to an announcement that the Colonial Treasurer intends to raise the price from par to 101. It is improbable that large investments will be made, especially when Sydney stock oan be obtained at par. It is believed the move is to p eolude tne early iesue of a looal loan of £1,000,000.
