ANOTHER NATIVE TROUBLE.
Gisbobne, This day,
There has been a native trouble at WaiI piro, which at one time appeared as if it would lead to fighti-g between the rival parties of natives, dome time since the Native Land Court awarded a portion of the Waipiro block to Pini Amini, muoh to the dissatisfa.tion of the well-known chief Tuta Nihoniho, who applied for a re-hear-ing, which was refused.* On Monday Tuta came down from his Kianga at Jerusalem, accompanied by fifty armed men, and took possession of Pini Amini's pah. Muoh excitement was occasioned thereby along the coast. A police force arrived on the scene, and affairs are now somewhat quieter, Tuta still holding possession.
