PROFESSOR KOCH'S REMEDY. Sydney, This day.
All the patients whom Dr. Wilkinson has been treating with Professor Koch's tuberculine show signs of improvement, and have much increased in weight. He says he has no hesitation in advising the treatment in suitable cases.
QUARANTINE REMOVED. Adelaide, This day. The quarantine restrictions placed on vessels arriving from Colombo owing to the prevalence of small-pox there have been removed.
QUEENSLAND STRIKES.
Brisbane, This day.
Several unionists, on a charge of aiding and abetting the leaders in the recent riots, have been sentenced to terms of imprisonment ranging from two to three months. At the trial of the Peak Down rioters at Rockhampton a panel of two hundred and seventy jurors was exhausted without getting a jury.
