TOWN EDITION.
We have received any number of applications to-day for copies of the new railway time-table. Of course, as we have but the office copy, we referred applicants to the railway station, but we hear there are none to be had there.
The disputes between Alfred Lewis and A. J. B. Howe were heard by Mr Wardell, R.f11., this afternoon. Plaintiff claimed for labor £17, and use of horse and trap £1 ss, total £18 ss. Mr Sheath appeared for plaintiff, and Mr Lee for defendant, who disputed ihe amount. Evidence was taken, and the case was proceeding when we went to press.
