The meeting will be held under the rules of the Metropolitan Club of the district. No deduction will be made from the stakes. Nominations for all events must be accom - paDied with the neceflsary fees and colors, and be in the hands of the Secretary by 8 p.m. on TUESDAY, March 3rd, 1891', at the Tavistock Hotel, Waipukurau. Weights declared on THURSDAY, 19th March. Acceptances to be in the hands of the Secretary, accompanied with necessary fees, by 8 p.m. on MONDAY, March 23rd, at same place. Winner of any Handicap (after declaration of weights) of the value of 200 soys to carry 10lb extra, of the value of 100 soys 71b extra, and of any race 51b extra (Hurdle Races exoepted). "Hack" shall mean a horse that has never won a race of over 40 soys in value at time of nomination, and that is not nominated for a Derby, Oaks, Guineas, St. Leger, or Sapling Stakes, up to the date of nomination.
