Offers have been made to take up the South Australian loan, but the terms are calculated to create difficulty on the Ex- , Chancellor of the Exchequer is parleying with the joint stock banks and he is hopeful that an agreement will be effected with regard to the currency question without the interference of Parliament. An impression is gaining ground that if the minimum of the propoeed Victorian loan is fixed at 97 it will be successfully floated. WOOL.
