SCARLET FEVER.
Invbboabqili.. This day. It appears the barque Anna Herbertha, which arrived from Adelaide on Sunday, had two casej of scarlet fever on board, but notwithstanding this «he was allowed a berth alongside the wharf. The Mayor of the Bluff telegraphed to the Colonial Secretary, and he has iustructed the Invercargill Collector of Customs to inquire, and take action if necessary. The feeling prevails that there has betn a breach of the quarantine regulations.
Balance of toys and fancy articles at a great reduction in prices to effect a clearance of the tables. Inspect Neal and Close's exhibition.
