THE GOVERNOR AND THE MAORIS.
Nkw Plymouth, This day. It 18 reported that Te Whiti, of Parihaka, has received a telegram from the Governor saying he will hold a big meeting there tn March next. Te Whiti replied that he agreed with the meeting, but suggests it be held at Waitara, when he and Tohu would attond with all the important men. The Governor is sending his and Lady Onslow's photographs to Te Whiti.
