CAROL SERVICE.
The carol service at the Cathodral last ni_ht did not attract such a large attendance _ as uaual. Probably this was due in some t measure to many of the same carok being Bung year after year, while greater charge* In thr programme and loss ot old favorites would prove more attractive. Tho solos were sung by Mrs Spaokman, M.« Large, Miss Knowles who sang for lent, time £ public" and did well, and Mr Finch, who /' s-ntr in his accustomed manner. Miss H We w«K " K -i«> icß Gretttl - vr ; ° P*"* h }° r \ of Zion "iv n-tdition to a carol solo, iv her * well known style. The colleotion was in aid of tho choir funds.
