MOVEMENTS OF UNION COMPANY'S STEAMERS.
The Southern Cross leaves for the north at 4 p.m. to-day. The Australia is duo from northern ports early on Friday, and leaves for Wellington at 4 p.m. The Tarawera is due from northorn ports early on Saturday morning. The outward passengers will bo taken off at 2 p.m. The Manapouri arrives from Melbourne via southern ports oh Saturday forenoon. The outward passengers will bo taken off at The Orowaiti is expected here on Tuesday or Wednesday from Westport tia Gisborne. _, , The cargo s.t earner Omapere leaves Dunedin on Saturday, and after calling at the usual East Coast ports, is due here on tho 27th.
