At tho conclusion of tho Cabinet meeting this morning the Premier wailed on tho Governor and tendered certain advice to him which His Excellency accepted. As soon as formal intimation is received a Gazette will bo issued, probably this afternoon. The nature of the advice tendered His Excellency was not made officially known, but it is quite understood the Governor will summon Parliament for Thursday, January loth. Ministers, iv taking this course, contend they are supported by Sir Juliu. Vogel, who in his Ministerial statement iv 1884 commended the previous Government for not resigning until Parliament met. Parliament will bo opened by Commission, and in:mediately proceed to the election of a Speaker. Tho Government will then announce what course thoy intend to tako, which if they hold to their present intention, will be to resign.
