These raoes are open to all horses that have never won an Advertised Stake or Prize exceeding tho value of £40 at the time of Nomination, except the District Races. RULES AND CONDITIONS. All races to bo run under Metropolitan Rules of Racing. Any horse winning a race the value of £25 after the declaration of the weights to carry a penalty of 71b. Penalties not cumulative. All Nominations, Acceptances, and Entries close at 8 p.m. on their respective dates, and are to be addressed to the Secretary, Ormondville. Five per cent deduotcd from the gross amount of all stakes. For further particulars vide Metropolitan Rules. Telegraph Office closes at Ormondville at 5 p.m. District Races are only open to horses that have been in tho district three months previous to the day of the races, and must he nominated by a bom fide resident in the district of three months' standing, district to consist of Ormondville, Norsewood, and Takapau Road Districts and Ormondville Town District.
