APPEAL COURT.
Wellington, This day. Judgment in the Appeal Court in tho caso of Robertson v. Wilson and others was delivered this morning. The appeal was allowed, the Court holding that the Thermal Sprinu-s District Act prevents any European from acquiring land in that district, also tlmt tho Maori has no power to make a will disposing of native lands in favor of a European. In tho case of the Clive Soad Board (Hawke's Bay) v. Guy, the appeal was also allowed. Judge Williams laid down tho principle that the decision of a County Council to stop a road is final, and not suliji...f. to review in miv Court. The Chief Justice dissented, being of opinion it was imperative before 'i road was slopped that it must be .eon
