During the impersonation he was entertained by tho best society in Halifax. The influenza epidemic has broken out again in Silesia and Paris. The Government Gazette publishes regulations providing against the introduction of cholera. An Australian wheat cargo on passage has been sold at 3Ss Cd. Bank of Now Zealand shares, old issue, £0 ; new, £8 10s. August 30. Pence has been re-established in tho States of Central America. Tho Guatemala Cabinet has resigned, objecting to the terms of peace entered into with San Salvador. The president is engaged forming a new Ministry. The Senate ban rejected a motion to place wool on the list of articles to be admitted free of duty. A bomb" was thrown into a newspaper olliee in Trieste, Austria, and exploded. A boy who was about to throw water on the fuse was killed, together with fivo other persons in the office.
