FOOTBALL.
The Napier and To Auto Senior Fifteens will meet in the second round on the Recreation Ground on Saturday. Tho following will represent the Napier Club : —J. Fleming, Prentice, G. Wulker, Ihimaira, Knight; Ootterill, G Fleming. Wilson R. H. Whyte, G. White, Robinson, Hughes, Stanton, Peacock, and Elliot. Emergencies, Downey and O'Connell.
The Taranaki footballers wero the guests of Henare Tomoana yesterday. They had a pleasant drive around Omahu and Hastings to Waipatu. A good spread wan provided for the visitors, and everything was done for their entertainraout. xhe team were also shown over the Tomoana freezing works, aud returned to town at half past six. Iα tho evening they witnessed tho Garriok Club's performance at the Theatro Royal, with which they were highly pleased
Delegates to tho H.B. Rugby Union are reminded that, there will be a meeting at the Criterion Hotel at 5 p.m. to-morrow.
