KUAOTUNU GOLDFIELDS.
Auckland, This day. The result of tho trial orushinjr from tho Rod Mercury mine at tho new Kuaotunu goldfiold was at the rate of three ounces of retorted gold to the ton for 18 tons, or a total of 54 ozs. News was received this morning that a new reef has been cut iv tho low levei, she ving gold freely. There is great excitemont on change. Red Mercurys aro selling at 4s 9d to ss, and Try Fluke at 14s 6d to 15s. All other Kuaotunu script has 'jumped considerably. The success of the field is considered assured.
