Hattke's Bay visitors to Wellington having complained to us that the Daily Telegraph wan not to be found in tho Wellington Athenaeum, we wroto to the Committee on the subject, and have received the following reply :—" Your information that the Daily Tklkobah cannot bo seen in our news-room is not correct, as it is regularly placed there. But your communication has been the means of the committee finding that the paper has not hitherto been permanently filed for reference. Instructions have been given to hare this rectified at once, and I would suggest that you intimate to your readers that your paper is regularly filed at the Wellington Athonimini.—l am, &c.,D. S. Gkev, acting hon. secretary."
