The Tarawera arrived at Sydney from Auckland yesterday. A Chribtchurch. telegram last night says: —" The condition of the barque Beltana remains nearly the same, but it is supposed taut the fire is being gradually extinguished. The temperature amidships has decreased from 100 yesterday to 87 to-day. Over 450 gallons of chemicals were injected into the hold last night."
