November. 28—Southern Cross. *.s , for northern ports. R. Puflett, ugeut. Passnugcrsi— Sir George S. WhUmove; Mr J. Vigor Brown, and Captain Brownell. The Union Company's s.s. Southern Cross steamed for Gisbonie and Auckland fin East Coast stations at 6.1n p.m. yesterday. She arrived at Gisborne early this morning. Tho Wniroa started from Wairoa this morning, but owing , , probably, to the heavy avn, put back there stgniii. The s.s. Star of England will probably proceoi to Gisborne on Wednesday next.
