Grey, he stated to a Star reporter this day tbat no iutiination of such intended offer had been received by him. He had uq communication oil the subjeot with either the Liberal or Home Rule leaders. He thought it posr sible, however, that something of the kind might be on foot owing to the number of electorates vow iv tlje Home Rule interest.
