RESIGNATION OF THE CLERK OF PARLIAMENT.
Wellington, This day. Major Campbell has resigned the office of Clerk of Parliament. In the oourso of an interview this morning the Major stated there was no special reason for taking the step, but ho wished to bo relieved of the cares of office.
